Angèle Restaurant and Bar
One of the legendary Bay Area restaurant families operate Angèle, a rustic French country
restaurant at the Historic Napa Mill. Claude Rouas, known for the former L'Etoile in San
Francisco and Auberge du Soleil resort, with daughters Bettina and Claudia opened Angèle
the first week in December 2002. French-born Chef de Cuisine Christophe Gerard brings to Angèle
14 years experience at some of the worlds finest restaurants, including Paris' three-starred
Michelin Taillevent restaurant and Lespinasse in New York's St. Regis Hotel.
Located in the old boat house of the Napa Mill the dining room highlights simple elegance
with raw beam ceilings, concrete floors, soft, warm light and relaxed environment. On
warm days and nights the balcony overlooking the Napa River provides a completely unique
Wine Country dining venue. The bar is a popular meeting place for locals and last minute
diners.
