Our rooms are spread across three buildings, each one unique. The Hatt Building dates back to 1884. Plaza and Embarcadero offer their own mix of fireplaces, patios, and river views. No two rooms are exactly the same, reflecting the individuality of our historic property.
You won’t find a standard layout repeated down a hallway. Some have king beds, some queens. River views, courtyard views, or tucked into the historic mill itself. Choose your ideal location, or contact our front desk for help finding a space that fits you perfectly.

Sara Brooks

Since 1999
Sara Brooks, a Napa Valley native, began as the Controller when the Inn opened in June 2000, and became General Manager in 2007. Her leadership, coupled with her deep-rooted connection to the community, has been instrumental in shaping the Inn’s identity.
Elena Monterrosa
Executive Housekeeper
Since 1999
Maria Elena Monterrosa, hailing from El Salvador, has been our Executive Housekeeper for almost three decades, overseeing the department with a sharp eye and a kind hand. Elena started on the same day Sara Brooks did -- September 7, 1999 prior to the hotel's opening in June 2000.
Rosie Berger
Concierge
Since 2022
Rosie Berger has been in customer service her entire career. She graduated from a private travel/hospitality school in Chicago in 1990. Rosie is bilingual and extremely connected in the Valley. Her position as Concierge allows her to help Napa River Inn guests put together top itineraries for their time in Valley–whether they are first time visitors or long-time repeat guests.
Thomas Hill
Banquet Captain
Since 2021
Recently graduated with a degree in Hospitality, Thomas Hill enjoys hiking and traveling. His job at Napa River Inn as Banquet Captain is to make sure that everything runs smoothly for large corporate groups. You will frequently see him in the lobby and around the Historic Napa Mill as he works with the bell staff and guests.
Alicia

Alicia Rivera has been working at the Inn since 2000. She enjoys her job here at the Inn because it’s always different daily. You will see Alicia either helping making sure the spa is tidy, the outside areas clean, or helping make sure the rooms are ready for the guests stay. On her time off she enjoys being home with her family.

Bertha Uribe been at the Inn for 26 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and working at the Inn. Bertha says she loves to see the reactions of the guest when they arrive, and they admire the beauty of the Napa River Inn. She likes to be helpful and make sure the guest rooms are tidy.

Judith Candelario been at the Inn for 24 years. She loves working at the Inn, calling it an extension of her home. She enjoys getting here early and enjoying the property, listening to the birds, and seeing the beauty of the plants around the property. Judith enjoys having conversations with the guests and making them feel at home.

Gloria Flores has been at the Napa River Inn for 24 years. When she is not at work, she enjoys family time and gardening. She takes great pride in making sure the outside common areas and rooms are pristine shape for guests to visit and stay with us.

Very Important Pets
Pets are always welcome as part of our Very Important Pet Program. From gourmet bones and biscuits made from Napa Valley wines to pet sitters who are always at the ready — we have you and your pooch’s needs covered.
Each of our pet visitors gets a custom-designed blanket embroidered with the Napa River Inn logo along with a place mat and stainless steel food and water bowls.
Note: There is a charge of $50 per night. Pets may not be left in the room unattended. Up to 2 pets maximum. Guests will have to book their own pet sitters. Napa River Inn can provide information to guests who would like to book their own pet sitter. Our pet friendly list is updated often but guests will need to check a day or two in advance to verify available sitters.
